About

Transit After Sandy uses the Crowdmap.com platform to collect direct reports on New Yorkers' access to bus and subway service.

This site was created to let NYC bus and subway riders know where service is available, and what kind of service they'll be dealing with.

While MTA.info provides direct restoration updates from their end, Transit After Sandy shows ground testimonials as tweeted and e-mailed by the public.

These reports may involve anything from a bus stop obscured by a downed tree to a subway entrance blocked by flooding.

Don't be a hero - leave storm clean-up to the city. But you can still help your neighbors by submitting a local report to Transit After Sandy!
